I earned my NC CPA certification in January 2020 and have my bachelors and masters degree from East Carolina University. With experience in partnerships, S corporations, and individual tax returns, my expertise extends from general bookkeeping, encompassing both cash and GAAP financials, to comprehensive tax preparation, including payroll, sales tax, 1099 filings, and many other tax compliance requirements. I am a QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor and also proficient in NetSuite. I enjoy leveraging new technology to streamline business processes for my clients and myself. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children, who are 2 years apart. I have 4 siblings, 1 of which is my identical twin brother who is also a CPA licensed in NC.

With over 40 years of experience in both public accounting and private enterprises regarding specialized tax matters, I am a seasoned professional certified as an NC CPA and have been since September 1985. I have my bachelor’s degree in accounting from NC State University. I've maintained an active role in the North Carolina Association of CPAs since 1988. I have an active IRS CAF Number and PTIN that I have used to assist taxpayers in complex IRS tax audits. I possess expertise in the taxation of mergers & acquisitions, trust structuring, and estate tax planning. My career is defined by a commitment to excellence and a passion for providing strategic financial guidance to clients, ensuring their success in navigating complex tax landscapes.
